What makes our Joondalup Childcare Centre special

At our childcare centre in Joondalup, we pride ourselves on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. We believe that a supportive and diverse atmosphere is key to fostering development and emotional well-being, and we are proud to offer a range of features that make us stand out in Perth’s childcare landscape.

  • High staff retention & Expertise

Our centre boasts high staff retention, meaning your child will be cared for by dedicated educators who truly understand the individual needs of every child. We have a team of 4 full-time Early Childhood Teachers and 8 Montessori Teachers, ensuring that your child receives the highest quality care and educational support.

This stability gives both children and parents peace of mind, knowing their child will be cared for by experienced and familiar faces.

  • Multicultural Centre Promoting Diversity & Inclusion

We are a multicultural childcare centre that embraces diversity and inclusion. Our programs celebrate cultural differences and encourage children to develop a positive attitude towards all backgrounds, fostering respect and empathy from a young age. We believe that understanding and appreciating diversity is a vital skill that will benefit children throughout their lives.

  • Caring and Nurturing Approach

Our staff take a caring and nurturing approach, with many educators being parents themselves. This shared experience allows them to connect with families on a deeper level, creating a warm and supportive environment where your child can feel safe and loved. We understand the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families, and we work hard to make sure that every child feels heard and valued.

  • Afternoon Arts and Cultural Program

To encourage creativity and cultural exploration, we offer an Afternoon Arts and Cultural Program, led by a dedicated Art Teacher. Through this program, children have the opportunity to engage in artistic expression while learning about different cultures, providing a well-rounded educational experience that supports their creative and cognitive development.

  • Strong Community & Parent Involvement

We believe that community and parent involvement is essential to a child’s growth and success. Our centre encourages collaboration and open communication with families, fostering a sense of community where everyone plays an active role in supporting the children’s learning journey. We regularly host events and activities to bring parents, staff, and children together in a meaningful way.

  • Sustainability & Environmental Awareness

As part of our commitment to the environment, we have a dedicated Sustainability Officer who guides our eco-friendly practices. We teach children the importance of sustainability through hands-on learning experiences, helping them develop an appreciation for the natural world and the role they play in preserving it for future generations.

  • Safety First: WHS, First Aid & Well-Being

Your child’s safety is our top priority. Our centre is fully compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards, and we have a trained First Aid Officer on-site at all times. We ensure that all safety procedures are in place to provide a secure and nurturing environment for your child to grow and learn.

  • Excursions and Incursions for Enriching Experiences

To broaden your child’s horizons, we offer a variety of incursions and excursions throughout the year. These experiences provide valuable opportunities for children to learn about the world around them and develop new skills in a fun and engaging way. Whether it's a visit to a local museum or a special performance at the centre, our excursions are designed to inspire curiosity and expand children’s learning beyond the classroom.
